Teenagers today receive information from many sources, including social media, videos and online forums. This makes learning faster, but it also creates a problem: not every source is accurate. Before sharing a claim, students should check who published it, when it was updated and whether other reliable sources say the same thing. A few minutes of checking can prevent a false story from spreading to hundreds of people.
